A developer shared 100 Bodies in the Grass, a 4-player co-op game built heavily with Claude over several months. Players defend a Vietnamese village during the third Mongol invasion of 1287 — deliberately avoiding the usual Vietnam War tropes in Western games.
The author says he wouldn't have attempted the project without AI coding tools; a free demo is now live on Steam. Another concrete case of AI assistance enabling solo developers to ship projects that were previously out of reach.
