Search Engine Roundtable's November 2026 Google Webmaster Report recaps a busy month:
- Google completed its September spam update, with several unconfirmed algorithm fluctuations as the community awaits the next core update
- AI Overviews now show on roughly 80% of Google searches, including typo and no-result queries; Google announced link updates to AI Overviews, and a small study examines whether those links drive clicks
- Google posted 25% revenue growth to $127.6B but missed profit expectations on heavy AI infrastructure spending and slowing search ads; the AI Overview lawsuit was dismissed
- Argon 4 now powers parts of AI Mode, and Universal Search is live in the U.S.
