Open-source Mac tool translates EPUBs bilingual and pushes to Kindle over Wi-Fi
vista8 · x · 2026-11-03
Developer vista8 released the open-source Mac app kindle-push-macos: it translates e-books into bilingual Chinese-English editions and pushes them over Wi-Fi straight to a jailbroken Kindle running KOReader, with no cloud relay.
- Forked from chasepal/kindle-push-macos; translation powered by the MIT-licensed bilingualbookmaker with a configurable model service.
- Supports virtually every KOReader-readable format (EPUB, PDF, MOBI, comics, etc.); converts Markdown/TXT/HTML/Word into EPUBs with TOC, and packages Obsidian links and images.
- Delivers files via KOReader's SSH service with read-back verification; no SimpleUI required, no jailbreak tools included.
