After a commenter complained every AI music video features attractive models, this creator built a full felt-puppet rock band in classic Muppet style, rendered entirely locally. Workflow: song in Suno, split into stems so each scene features the actual players, word-level lyric timing for cuts; character sheets and locations in GPT Image 2; 14 scenes (1:45) rendered in ComfyUI via their free open-source Video Builder. Settings: MiniMax H3 ref2va v2 int8, two-pass sampling (25 steps, then 8-step 768p ref2v LoRA v1.1 at 0.35 denoise). Fixes included misplaced puppets, an extra keyboardist, and mouths flapping when only the singer should sing. The Builder accepts any LLM via MCP—this video used Claude to drive it—and a fully local one-shot video agent is in progress.
