Pinokio Remote Launches: Access Your Local AI Apps From Any Device
cocktailpeanut · x · 2026-11-03
Pinokio, the popular one-click launcher for open-source AI apps, released Pinokio Remote, letting users access locally running AI apps from phones, tablets, or any browser.
The author argues "local" was never about one machine — it was about control: AI running on hardware you own, invisible to others and free of subscriptions. Remote removes the last constraint of being physically at the machine.
How to use: update Pinokio desktop to ≥8.3, pair at pinokio.co/connect.
What it unlocks: start a long video generation and check results on your phone, chat with a local LLM on the train, remotely stop forgotten apps, and with Tailscale access your whole setup while traveling.
