Anthropic's amended S-1/A-1 registration statement, filed with the SEC on November 2, 2026, contains a striking admission: the company may "imminently" meet its Responsible Scaling Policy's definition of "dramatically accelerated progress attributable to AI," while stating it does not expect to safely use Claude to fully autonomously build successive frontier model generations. Signed by CEO Dario Amodei and President Daniela Amodei.
