Anthropic's amended S-1 says it may "imminently" hit its RSP's AI-accelerated progress threshold

Anthropic disclosed in its amended S-1 filing that internal estimates suggest it may "imminently" meet its Responsible Scaling Policy definition of "dramatically accelerated progress attributable to AI."
- The threshold means a 2x rate of capability progress versus the fastest extended rate observed over three model generations — effectively compressing two years of progress into one — plausibly driven by automating AI R&D itself
- The filing also states Anthropic does not anticipate being able to safely use Claude to fully autonomously design and build successive generations of frontier models
