Per Forbes, Elon Musk acknowledged that running SpaceX's AI agent Grok Bot is "unsustainably high" relative to its revenue, responding to subscriber complaints about reduced usage limits less than two weeks after touting it as the fastest-growing product he'd ever seen.
Niels Rogge shared a screenshot showing users hitting the weekly usage limit almost immediately, commenting that the bot is now effectively unusable. Another real-world case of free/cheap AI bot economics: the faster it grows, the harder it burns.
