Claude Code can edit video — the trick is dictating editor notes while recording

aakashgupta shares his workflow for video editing with Claude Code. After the first cut he gives notes (cut weird background sound, remove black screens, drop the countdown...). The "weird sound" turned out to be 12 seconds of room tone Claude looped from his raw take. His key insight: the notes are the step that matters most — he talks to Claude out loud while recording, Whisper transcribes everything so Claude reads his notes, just like briefing a human editor.
