AgentTM: a Go-built time-travel debugger records and rewinds AI coding agent sessions
tracellm · reddit · 2026-11-02
AgentTM is a local-first developer tool written in Go that records Codex execution history and lets developers inspect and restore previous workspace states. v0.1 includes SQLite-backed event storage, SHA-256 content-addressable snapshots, historical file inspection, diffs, and isolated checkpoint restoration via Git worktrees, with a React/TypeScript dashboard embedded in the Go binary. Currently limited to non-interactive Codex sessions, tested end-to-end on Windows; Linux/macOS and broader agent support are pending. The long-term goal is multi-agent support for inspecting, rewinding, and branching execution histories. Repo: github.com/Jyotishmoy12/AgentTM
