Tired of dropping into the terminal every time to download videos, a developer used Claude to build a GUI for yt-dlp — Purrloader — in under 10 minutes. Screenshots show a polished Mac app: paste a YouTube playlist link, batch-select items, pick Video/Audio and quality, plus a menu bar icon with live download progress and pause controls.
