Forjr open-source framework: every function becomes an MCP tool with one option, no server glue
B1LAXE · reddit · 2026-11-02
Forjr, a new MIT-licensed full-stack framework, removes the repetitive MCP glue—server, tool schemas, descriptions, auth, sync. With one option, a function is exposed as an MCP tool with OAuth sign-in, plus a REST endpoint with OpenAPI and a CLI command. Typed inputs and descriptions are generated from the function definition so they never drift, and every call runs under the caller's permissions with the same access rules as pages and APIs. Early-stage repo; author seeks feedback.
