rickasaurus · x · 2026-11-02
An Economist chart sourced from Anthropic — dubbed "the world's most important chart" in AI circles — tracks AI's share of Anthropic's model R&D: from minimal AI use in August 2025, to AI collaboration passing 50% in March 2026, to AI leading 26% of R&D (95%+ of the work) by August 2026. Fully autonomous R&D remains 0%. The poster jokes it "took a whole village of Claudes" to produce the data.
