Philosopher uses Claude to turn the PhilPapers Survey into a Buzzfeed-style quiz
gleech · x · 2026-11-02
Philosopher Jonathan ichikish (gleech) used Claude to 'Buzzfeedify' the PhilPapers Survey into an online quiz, responding to complaints that AI-written 'choose your philosopher' quizzes are bad: if philosophy must be reduced to binary forced choices, use the king of them — the PhilPapers Survey.
The quiz has 100 questions (e.g. foundations of mathematics: constructivism/formalism/logicism), re-matching you after every answer and mapping your positions to the closest of 365 contemporary philosophers with public answers and 99 classic philosophers.
