Matthew Chang of Chang Robotics introduces Curabotics, a spinout building autonomous robots for hospital nurses. The system runs 24/7 on on-premise compute behind the firewall, with a 96% nurse acceptance rate.
Nurses walk 6 miles per shift on average; Curabotics cuts that to 2 miles and returns 40% of shift time to patient care, addressing high workers' comp claims and burnout. Nurses are reportedly demanding the robots themselves.
