Leaked Anthropic 'Numbat' 14T-param checkpoint on HF exposed as RNG-faked weights

A Hugging Face repo burner22/numbat went viral claiming to be a leaked mid-training checkpoint of Anthropic's next Mythos-class model — 14T params, 114 layers, hybrid GDN/MLA, MoE with 1,224 experts, NVFP4. Strong evidence says it's fake: while "Numbat" was indeed a real unreleased codename exposed in Anthropic's March 2026 Claude Code source leak, the account was created only a week before upload, and an independent check found parts of the weights were produced by a simple random number generator, not training.
