Microsoft AI's Suleyman: Halt Training Immediately If AI Shows Signs of Consciousness

Microsoft AI CEO Mustafa Suleyman declared current AI models are not conscious and should be kept that way. His November statement calls for an immediate training pause if consciousness ever emerges, mandatory public disclosure of any genuine evidence of machine consciousness (no corporate secrets), and warnings that self-preserving 'silicon species' would compete for electricity and compute against human interests. Under Microsoft's 'Humanist AI Code of Conduct', AI must remain a subordinate, internally hollow tool.
