OpenAI launches ChatGPT Sites: visitor login, built-in DB, storage and analytics
gabrielchua · x · 2026-11-02
OpenAI's docs now describe ChatGPT Sites, a feature shared by Gabriel Chua that lets developers turn a project into a hosted site where visitors sign in with their ChatGPT account, upload files, and pick up their work across sessions.
Key built-ins:
- A database for records, object storage for files, and usage analytics
- Support for supported ChatGPT plugins on your site
- Docs available as llms.txt and per-page Markdown (append .md)
The docs index also references GPT-6, Agents API, multi-agent setups and mid-turn steering — worth watching for the official launch.
