Foxconn deploys 10+ humanoid robots in its Texas AI server plants, built on NVIDIA GR00T

Reuters reports FII chairman Brand Cheng confirmed more than 10 humanoid robots are in internal use at Foxconn's Houston site, the same campus of six factory buildings that builds AI servers for Nvidia.
- Two wheeled models introduced in October: one lifts items vertically, the other bends at the waist for assembly and loading
- The robots' AI is being developed on NVIDIA GR00T, with plans to expand beyond Texas
- Foxconn hasn't disclosed runtime duration or whether teleoperation is involved
The author notes the telling detail: Foxconn's first customer is itself. As Nvidia's biggest AI server maker — with AI servers now over half its revenue — running humanoids at scale on its own lines lets it learn faster than anyone selling into someone else's factory floor.
