FAST-MaP Protocol Brings Single-Nucleotide RNA Structure Data in Under a Week via Nanopore
anshulkundaje · x · 2026-11-02
RDasLab reports that most of its RNA structure/AI methods development has shifted to overnight nanopore sequencing. Jigyasa Verma detailed the FAST-MaP protocol on bioRxiv: single-nucleotide-resolution RNA structure data with no in-house sequencer and no bioinformatics pipeline required, end to end in under a week—a meaningful barrier-lowering workflow for RNA structure prediction and AI method teams.
