Indie developer FatalExit shared a monthly analytics review of their games on the wavedash platform: Dopaminer logged 5x the hours of their top performer, and this month's player count likely exceeded the last several months combined — yet earnings dropped over $70 from last time to below $100, not enough to cover subscriptions, so they may stop releasing games.

Screenshots show just $486.60 in total earnings, mostly from the DEAD SUN Creator Fund ($267.56) and Dopaminer Creator Fund ($45.31); cumulative stats: 11,301 players, 15,566 plays, and only 2m39s average playtime.

They also criticize the platform's ecosystem: a handful of perpetually trending games dominate, turning wavedash into a Roblox-like market of mass-produced mediocre co-op games that squeezes out smaller developers.
