Per an OpenAI help doc updated hours ago, starting in December, Plus, Pro, and Business plans' usage allowance will be shared across ChatGPT and Codex, as Work's agentic capabilities fold into the main ChatGPT experience. Heavy Codex users will likely hit their 5-hour/weekly limits faster now that chat and coding draw from one pool. The poster quips it's 'unironically over for the poors.'
