Musk promotes Grok in Cursor; dev says UX beats Claude Code and Codex
elonmusk · x · 2026-11-02
Elon Musk took to X to promote Grok's integration into Cursor (Grok Bot), saying the team ships dozens of fixes and features 7 days a week and iterates based on user feedback.
Quoted Japanese developer @shimabuit strongly endorsed it: from a UX perspective Cursor is essentially unmatched, and Grok Bot beats Claude Code and Codex. However, Claude Code remains necessary for raw model capability—he hopes the next Grok reaches Opus 5.5-level performance so he can go Cursor-only.
