EVOLV: open-source AI that rewrites its own code, builds its own tools, and evolves locally
Sea_Manufacturer6590 · reddit · 2026-11-02
A developer released EVOLV, an open-source agent system that runs locally and claims to "rewrite its own DNA" (i.e., modify its own code), create its own tools, and evolve its own application while running. Fully open source — users can clone it and steer its evolution to their needs. Code lives at github.com/dxn111/EVOLV.
