julianweisser · x · 2026-11-02
Sara Du, who co-founded Alloy Automation and now runs solo venture Ando backed by $20M from Accel, Index and Emergence, says the only thing that matters pre-PMF is the rate of learning. julianweisser adds that when a startup isn't progressing, it usually means the founders aren't learning fast enough — the key risk is drifting into limbo without committing to a direction, even for a week. Du hired her first employee months after raising, arguing fewer people means less friction before product-market fit.
