After the ETH refutation, theorists open a community board to collect the fallout
rrwilliams · x · 2026-11-02
Following the claimed refutation of the Exponential Time Hypothesis (ETH), UC San Diego professor Mohan Paturi has set up a community blog inviting researchers to announce derived results—with full names, affiliations, and paper links—to be archived in an ETH Repository, with MIT's Aparna Gupte tracking cryptographic consequences in a public spreadsheet. A rare coordinated effort to map the fallout of a major proof in theoretical computer science.
