levelsio laments X removing the Hide Reply button he used to block AI spam
Kyrannio · x · 2026-11-02
Indie hacker @levelsio announced that X apparently removed the [Hide reply] button, so he can no longer hide-and-block AI-generated reply spam — jokingly announcing the loss "with great sadness." Replyers noted it was a Streisand-effect button anyway. The incident highlights both the flood of AI bot replies on X and the shrinking tools real users have against them.
