UW–Madison's ECE department is recruiting tenure-track faculty at all ranks (Assistant/Associate/Full Professor) in Physical AI, spanning multimodal sensing, learning and modeling of physical dynamics, and learning/control/decision-making for robotics and autonomous systems.
Full consideration deadline is Dec 14, 2026. The department has 52 tenure-track faculty (over 35% women), 400 grad students and 1,100 undergrads.
