Following up on his prediction that YouTube's direct app usage will drop to zero, Yacine adds: "I hope you enjoyed your monopoly! It will soon end." He argues ChatGPT, Claude and other AI assistants will replace direct app access as the content gateway, forcing platforms to compete on serving AI as cheaply as possible.
