Build an Agentic Knowledge Graph from Scratch — No Graph DB, No Extraction Model
adnan_hashmi · x · 2026-11-02
A full tutorial on building an agentic knowledge graph from scratch. The pipeline: parse raw dumps (page links, categories, redirects .gz) with a stream parser — no LLM, no extraction model, 'parse, don't extract' — store edges in DuckDB + Parquet, build a CSR graph with bidirectional path search plus BM25 entry search, and wire an agent loop exposing search/neighbors/path/categories/read tools that returns answers with cited paths or refuses when no path exists, complete with an eval harness.
