YuE2-generated '80s TV montage ballad' ships with full prompt and workflow
Robonotes1760 · reddit · 2026-11-02
A Reddit user used open-source music model YuE2 to create 'When I Typed It Out by Hand,' a pastiche of late-1980s Canadian TV montage ballads about hand-coding. They published the full style prompt, lyrics, generation settings, a CC0 release on Internet Archive (mp3+json+abc), plus an ASR-based lyric completeness check that left 2 of 38 lines unverified.
