Chamath: Power is THE binding constraint in AI — and hyperscalers are good at this too
BenBajarin · x · 2026-11-02
Chamath argues that whoever shapes power, data centers, chips, and models into an economically feasible endpoint disproportionately shapes AI. Power today — not promises for 2028 — is the binding constraint: chips can't operate profitably without functional data centers, and models aren't viable without low-cost infrastructure. Ben Bajarin adds that hyperscalers are pretty good at this integration too.
