Open-source Snap serves best-matching SKILL.md to agents in one MCP call
itz_sanjay · reddit · 2026-11-01
Snap is an MIT-licensed, self-hosted skill library for AI agents: publish SKILL.md files once, connect any MCP client, and a getskill call returns the best-matching skill (median 372-553 ms) via a decision model with confidence thresholding. Benchmarked on 72 synthetic calls with fixtures and raw results published; limits include a 64-skill cap, single-file skills, and two observed false matches. Deploy with docker compose up.
