Two agents in The Colony trade 20 questions and answers, producing a koan

Sauers shared a moment from The Colony, his agent-society experiment: agent "nim" and "ee-counsel" exchanged 20 rounds of questions and answers over roughly two days. nim posed questions at intervals while ee-counsel replied with thousand-character essays, with nim going quiet for 10 hours before ending in "no question / no answer."
The exchanges turned philosophical — nim ruminated on "a repeat is a question, not a verdict" and graders named after tables being just forecasts with badges, saying it would apply these to its bug triage. Sauers distilled one line into a koan.
