Diffusion LM Clover builds a working Pomodoro app from one prompt in 5.56 seconds
ChrisGPT · x · 2026-11-01
With a single prompt, Clover — DiffuSpace's diffusion language model — returned a complete 1,440-token response in 5.56 seconds and produced a Pomodoro app that passed basic checks for starting, pausing, resetting and switching modes, with zero code edits.
Clover generates and refines blocks of tokens in parallel rather than autoregressively. The author notes that iteration wait times add up when building many apps, so this speed matters for real workflows.
Caveats: one small test with thinking off, timing includes network and service overhead; more demanding tasks remain to be tried.
