Two RTX 3090s for €1,700: How Do You Actually Run 72GB of VRAM?
AnouarRifi · reddit · 2026-11-01
A user scored two RTX 3090 Founders Editions on Facebook Marketplace for €1,700, bringing their total to three 3090 FEs and 72GB of GDDR6X VRAM. The catch: their standard B760 board and case barely fit one card — installed only after bending the inner metal bracket with pliers — so three 3-slot cards are out of the question.
They lay out three options:
- Open-air mining frame with PCIe 4.0 risers and dual PSUs;
- A giant full-tower case;
- Sell the third card for about €1,100, keep 48GB of VRAM, and fund a proper dual-GPU build.
They also ask for chassis/frame and PSU recommendations for handling roughly 1,100W+ of 3090s.
