Celesto launches CI runners that undercut GitHub Actions by ~90% with a one-line change

Startup Celesto released CI runners positioned as a drop-in replacement for GitHub Actions: change one line (runs-on: [self-hosted, celesto]) and pay nearly 90% less per minute — $13.33 vs $120 for 20,000 minutes, also 83% cheaper than Blacksmith. The company claims its 1 vCPU machines beat GitHub's 2 vCPU by 18% on the same task. Each runner ships with 2 vCPU/8GB RAM, Docker preinstalled, up to 25GiB cache. Beyond CI, it offers agent sandboxes (booting in under 2 seconds) and long-running cloud computers with shell, browser and desktop for computer-use agents, plus CLI/SDK. Backed by Grayscale Ventures, with a $5 free trial, no card required.
