Grok API to enable text watermarking by default on Nov 7, opt-out unclear

Per an official xAI (SpaceXSI) email, text watermarking will be enabled by default for all teams starting November 7, 2026, across Grok API models including grok-4.7, 4.6, 4.5, 4.3, and the grok-4.20 family. Users who believe a legal exemption applies can opt out per model via the Console; the availability of opt-outs in certain countries remains unclear.
