ChatGPT's new 'Sketching it out' loading animation features a spider weaving a web

A screenshot shows ChatGPT's new "Sketching it out" loading state: a small spider slowly weaves a web over an orange dot-grid background while a progress percentage (47%) ticks in the corner. Design commentator AIandDesign praised it as a "nice touch" from OpenAI.
It's a playful UI detail that anthropomorphizes the model's thinking process—fun easter egg, not a functional update.
