Trick or Tear: an interactive 3D Halloween ticket where tearing straight wins treats
techartist_ · x · 2026-11-01
Inspired by Shirota, techartist built "Trick or Tear," an interactive 3D Halloween piece: a glossy admission ticket floating on a moonlit night. Tear the stub cleanly along the dotted line and sweets burst out; tear it crooked and a ghost squeezes out, holds up your stub saying Trick! and yells BOO.
Nice details: every ticket gets a unique serial number and paper grain, the grain actually pulls your tear off course, and an arched window plays a ghost animation past tombstones and jack-o'-lanterns. Live 3D in the browser.
