Revolut automated 90% of its 5,000-person support; CEO says teams should shrink to 2-3 people

Revolut CEO Nik Storonsky revealed that the company's customer support once numbered over 5,000 people, and 90% of it is now automated.
His argument on team size in the AI era:
- Teams should no longer be 10 people, but 2-3, since one developer can handle front-end, back-end, even data science
- The ultimate goal is a "full-stack AI employee"
- An AI employee that joins calls, has email and Slack accounts, and can access all internal back-office systems to do real work
A clear signal from a top fintech leader on how AI reshapes org design.
