The AI race is now an infrastructure race: Blackwell packs 208B transistors and 1.8TB/s NVLink

The AI race is becoming an infrastructure race. NVIDIA's Hopper chips scaled generative AI; Blackwell pushes further with 208 billion transistors, FP4 compute, and 1.8 TB/s NVLink bandwidth per GPU.
But the chip is only part of the investment: thousands of GPUs also need power, cooling, networking, and purpose-built data centers. AI advantage increasingly hinges on who can build and operate the infrastructure behind the models — shifting the enterprise question from "which model?" to "what compute can we actually afford and operate?"
