Free remote MCP server serves AI summaries of ~3,500 podcast and YouTube episodes, no auth
Yedapo · reddit · 2026-10-31
The maker of Yedapo wrapped the site's public read endpoints into a free remote MCP server so agents can look up "what did X say about Y on that podcast" without a browser.
- Endpoint: https://www.yedapo.com/api/mcp — Streamable HTTP, stateless, no API key, IP rate-limited; listed in the official MCP Registry
- Two read-only tools: searchepisodes (keyword match on titles, show names, tags, teasers; up to 10 cited results) and getepisode (full markdown summary with a should-you-listen verdict, timestamped takeaways and chapters)
- Archive skews toward AI agents, Claude Code, startups and tech talks; honest limitation: no semantic search yet
- One-line setup for Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http yedapo https://www.yedapo.com/api/mcp
