Creative director's wordless AI short: 119 shots distilled from hundreds of generations
Superb-Meeting7108 · reddit · 2026-10-31
A creative director who makes AI films for brands by day finished a personal wordless short about a girl who accidentally starts 65 million years of evolution in a backyard water tub. Inspired by The Simpsons' 1996 "Genesis Tub" episode, started June 2025, stalled repeatedly until the tech caught up. Stack: Kling/Seedance/Higgsfield for video, Nano Banana + GPT-Image for stills, ElevenLabs for all sound design, Suno for music, edited in CapCut — hundreds of generated shots distilled into 119 in the 5:41 final cut. Now competing in the Chroma Awards.
