Grok Bot can log into Codex via terminal, billing to your own subscription
alexcovo_eth · x · 2026-10-31
A user found you can make Grok Bot use other models via OAuth device-code flow: tell Grok Bot to open its terminal, run the install command, then codex login --device-auth (after enabling device-code login in ChatGPT security settings). Usage bills to your own ChatGPT/Codex subscription rather than Grok Bot, shared across all bots on the account.
