HairDeck: Tsinghua-led team open-sources single-image rigged 3D hair card generation
majidmanzarpour · x · 2026-10-31
HairDeck (Tsinghua + CMU + CUHK) generates animation-ready stylized hair cards from a single character image, with spring-bone chains attached so hair sways when the head turns. Each card is one token, generated jointly by a set diffusion transformer with a card VAE. Exports to GLB or VRM avatars. Code and weights are Apache 2.0 open source; local inference requires Linux and CUDA.
