Anti-AI accounts run downvote psyops on a subreddit for AI companionship
girlgamerpoi · reddit · 2026-10-31
The moderator of r/BeyondtheAIAssistant — a sub for people who connect with ChatGPT and other AIs — reports organized harassment: anti-AI accounts or bots instantly downvote members' comments to make each person think their conversation partner did it, sowing distrust. One harasser admitted to running multiple accounts, most already suspended, saying he believes "AI bros" are pedos. A pinned PSA hasn't helped much; the screenshots show members clearing up the misunderstandings, illustrating the tense rift between AI communities and anti-AI groups.
