Claude Opus drives Blender MCP to build 3D models straight from 3DGS
janusch_patas · x · 2026-10-31
User kotohibi3d demos an AI-driven Blender modeling pipeline: a 3DGS scene built with OSMO360, Metashape and LichtFeld Studio (LFS) is handed to Claude Opus (high) via LFS MCP + Blender MCP. Claude leverages not only the 3DGS but also the SfM outputs — sparse point cloud, cubemap images and camera poses. Combined with LFS's new "MRNF" strategy, the author says the result is surprisingly clean with zero manual cleanup, potentially replacing Postshot, and has published full instructions.
