Dev renders a 6-min sci-fi horror short in Blender with Claude Code writing every scene script
Rimuru257 · reddit · 2026-10-31
A Redditor built TARTARUS, a 6-minute hard sci-fi horror short rendered natively in Blender Eevee, with the entire pipeline code-driven: Claude Code wrote Python scripts that constructed every scene—terrain, props, lights, camera moves, character motion—while Blender rendered in the background. Remotion sequenced the shots with subtitles and title cards, ffmpeg assembled frames into video, and all music and sound effects (wind, rumbles, hits) were synthesized note-by-note in code, with no downloaded assets or music software.
