PotionUI: an open-source AI media studio built by 8 parallel Claude Code subagents in git worktrees

PotionUI 0.0.18 is a GPL-3.0, self-hosted studio for AI image/video/music generation on your own GPU (Krea-2, Flux, SDXL, Qwen-Image, Wan, LTX, MiniMax-H3 and more), built over 2 years almost entirely with Claude Code: 3,700 commits, 18 releases since late August, 30k+ backend tests.
It supports accounts/groups/admin so one GPU serves a household or team; Claude Desktop or any MCP client can drive it via per-user tokens with human approval on every mutation, and the built-in chat keeps Anthropic thinking across tool calls.
The development workflow: one Claude Code lead session splits sprints into lanes—6-8 subagents run in parallel in their own git worktrees and branches, merged one by one. Every change passes implement → multi-lens review (architecture, data/security, runtime, tests, with double-checking) → tester agent that proves new tests can fail by breaking code. Guardrails are hooks: commit blocking, test resource caps, architecture tests enforcing import rules.
